YES!Delft Network Event Tune

Korte Tunes gecomponeerd voor introductie bumps.
De korte bumps worden gebruikt om een nieuw onderwerp en spreker aan te kondigen.
Er is kort een animatie te zien op het grote scherm om duidelijk te maken wat er gaat gebeuren.
De tune trekt de aandacht van de bezoeker.
Deze tunes zijn gebaseerd op een bestaande melodie die dor YES!Delft al eerder was gebruikt onder een filmpje.
De bups en de rest van de productie van het event zijn door Techtive verzorgd.

Percussie workshops op het basisonderwijs.

Ik heb in opdracht van Talent Proof een percussie workshop ontwikkeld voor het basisonderwijs.
Tijdens de workshop leren de leerlingen een ritme te maken doormiddel van een hoog geluid en een laag geluid.
Eerst met stampen en klappen om een beetje in te komen om vervolgens over te stappen op het echte werk namelijk de verfblikken, cementkuipen en p.v.c.buis shakers!

De groep word verdeeld in 3 groepen die samen ritmes maken onder mijn begeleiding.
Van het uiteindelijke resultaat maken we een echte opname maar het doel is samen plezier hebben met het maken van ritmes in de klas.

Meganimatie Tune

Music composition for a short animation.
The animation was created by Meganimatie.
Meganimatie is a mobile stop motion installation. The installation is placed on festivals, school and other event locations ware the public or students can film objects or them self in front of the machine creating a stop motion animation.

The tune is used for a short stop motion animation shot on a primary school in Holland for the project Klasse film.

TU Alumni opening tune

Opening Tune for the 2012 Alumni Event of the TU Delft. ”Celebrating the past, connecting to the future” was this years motto for the 2012 alumni event. The TU Delft is celebrating it’s 170 anniversary a good time to review the past and connect to the future.

Drums at the Zadkine Pop Academy

My students at the Zadkine Pop Academy are in 16 till 24 years old. Their technical level of playing varies from “needs a lot of training” to “O my god I wish I could do that!” But they are all the same enthusiastic about the instrument. My focus is on the student so the material is some times more rudiments and technique and other times more about sound and feel. I try to give them something new every lesson and they give me new ideas as well. Teaching Rocks at the Zadkine!!

Blikopener drums of cans

I did a drumming performance for the opening of the Blikopener festival 2011. Blikopener is dutch for can opener so made a drum kit oud of cans and played rhythms on it sailing on a boat thru Delft.
It was great fun as you can see. And I kept the big oil drum this will come in handy in future music projects!

La Boutique Fantastique at DWDD

De Wereld Draaid Door, is one of the best viewed shows on the Dutch television.
The show is broadcasted live from monday till friday. The shows subject is news orientated it can vary from the death of Bin laden to the smartest boy of Holland and so on.

Every episode a band performs just one minute of a song, not a big deal but the show has about 1,5 million viewers in the Netherlands and thats a great figure for a show in this small country.

Before the show airs the band is given the opportunity to play one whole song for the website. We played the song “Schoolyard” enjoy.
