Runner tells the story of kids growing up in broken homes finding new “families” on the streets of Hoogvliet a suburban city near the industrial port of Rotterdam.
Parts of Runner takes place in early 2000 back than Bubblin culture was the new big thing. Bubbelin started in a small city next to Hoogvliet, Spijkenisse.
